• Do not flood, repeat, use gaudy colours, advertise, or make disgusting/racist/homophobic comments
  (These bother other #vancouver irc'ers, so please do these things in private /msg if you must!)
• Deactivate mp3, autogreet, away, and virus scripts
  (These script also bother people so please make sure they do not send messages to #vancouver channel or users in it.)
• Be civil to channel members
  (Excessively crude or abusive comments are not amusing and should be kept in private /msg)
• Get permission from channel managers to bring in a bot
  Ever seen "The Lawnmower Man"? We don't want that happening here.
