Terminator 3
Preview
[June.20.2001]

Variety reported today that screenwriting team John Brancato and Michael Ferris have been signed on to do a rewrite the film script for Terminator 3, which has been limboing for a bit. Note to self... look up limboing

So far, the current plot, is that it Arnold the good ol friendly/evil [depends on how he feel's that day] T-800 is going to be going head to head against the "energy-based" female Terminator. A Female Terminator that can not only shape-shift but disappear [sounds like my ex girlfriend actually]. I read a report of this from ign.com and thought..... ok this is goinna suck. James Cameron AND Arnold Schwarzenegger make up the Terminator, not JUST Arnold. Then I read what Brian LInder from ign said:

"A recent report in USA Today hinted at some possible changes in the story. Famke Janssen is rumored to be the front-runner for the female Terminator, but the role might not be all that evil anymore. The paper said that the female Terminator might actually be a good version who teams up with Arnold to fight another evil male Terminator. Vin Diesel's name has been tossed around, but don't get too excited just yet. The only thing that's for sure at this point is that Arnie and Edward Furlong will be back."

I have read that Vin Diesel is going to be playing HELLBOY which for me, is a big sigh of relief. I think he can actually pull that role off, and if he's going to be doing this as well... then we might have our new action hero for around the 2004ish area.

To be fair, to writers Brancato and Ferris who scripted The Net, also did David Fincher's The Game, which was my favorite movie of 1997 so this might not be all that bad. Anyway, T2 was the blockbuster of blockbusters in it's day and I was what... 20? So I really enjoyed it and I just wanted to put an update on this lil ol story. Ya'll come back now ya hear?
