DVD rips
aside, and Hollywood crying that we're taking money out of their pockets
[start making stuff WORTH paying for ya bastards], there are some
FANTASTIC legitimate used for DiVX. Reasons even Hollywood can get behind.
That's the capturing and distribution of television shows. You can sign up
for a membership at easynews.com and get anything ya want. Easynews
is the only website I actually pay for on a monthly basis. I think it's
only 6 bucks a month or something and what it is, is a web based newsgroup
site. You can trickle on in there and grab a few rars and within a half
hour or so, you can be watching that episode of Enterprise or X-Files that
you may have missed, or pinching a copy of the latest release on DVD. I
personally love grabbing episodes of The Family Guy or
Futurama. Of course there is a crap load of mp3's and Pron for
the whole family, as long as the whole family is over 18. This isn't an ad
for easynews tho, actually I'm not sure what it is, basically it's just a
quick run down, and introduction to DiVX. I personally love it, and I get
get enuff of it. Most of what I grab from the newsgroups I most often
already own, it's just nice to have an extra copy of MANHUNTER :
Directors Cut that I can watch on the ol second monitor here. But
if I was you, I'd change my name to Clint and move to Edmonton and look up
a guy named Lee Ingram and ask if he can let you stay over for a bit while
you do a little soul searching. Sorry, what I meant was, if I were you,
I'd get out that credit card, head over to
easynews.com, then hit
www.divx.com and grab the DiVX Codec and get cracking. Or
you can
e
mail me, I'll help a brother/sister out.
